Stay Away From Kenwood is a big push U-boats and a lot of energy! Kenwood's its great and the clarity and quality, but best believe that the jump ugly with large systems. There were few, and even my Kenwood FG sometimes jumps with only 2 Boston Acoustic G1 Low 12 and Boston Acoustic 500 watt monoblock. Owner of a Kenwood Excellon, was older (HAD dolphins swim on the screen) 2 Memphis 1500D Kove Armageddon, 1500Watt RMS amplifier, they are running and on weekends 2 Kenwood tried with him. Kenwood was not even a 1 / 4 volume, without bass. I do not know much about the Alps, but we have heard many good things. Personally I prefer the Prime Minister of the pioneers. Even if you buy an object head with separate subwoofer control and many possibilities of the equation has to be good. Even Prime Minister of Pioneer, with the lower prices are good. Remember, "First" is not only a pioneer regular ol 'CD player lol. Sony sucks btw. Word of the Council, each unit sold at Wal-Mart and Meijer's not likely to find what you or caugh * * caugh * * Sony lol

Although not entirely acceptable to the people because he is the subcontracting of work, the Alps has some of the best head units in my opinion. Out of 9884 or 9886 Alpine head units that are excellent for beginners units that work well. Kenwood also makes things decently, but I do not know how the aesthetics as well as models of the Alps. All of this will fall from $ 400. I assume you do not want to spend much money, because it is probably the first unit. The low rate would probably be on amazon.com, but crutchfield.com a little more expensive, but you get the installation guide and other extras to help you, like an iPod with your car.

I always had luck with Sony. Sony offers the quality and features of many expensive brands, with over half the price

Other good brands are cheap and pioneer Jensen
